At the beginning of last week, Facebook announced that it would be streamlining its messenger app. The update promises a service that will load twice as fast while only taking up a quarter of the space it currently does.
We expect that this is the beginning of the long awaited merger of all the facebook-owned messenger services (Fb Messenger, Insta DM & WhatsApp) into one super communication platform.
The rollout is expected to happen over the next few weeks.
